Today officially kicks off high school dance teams try-out season.  My short time away from dance has come to an end, tonight starts a three week long try-out process.  This is what my weeks look like:

Monday April 28th:  Informative parent meeting

Tuesday April 29th:  Sub (criminal science and material science classes, I've been doing this for a few weeks now...Just call me "teacher" that's what my students call me)...followed by Ruby's swim lessons

Wednesday April 30th:  Open gym for dance, we will work on technique.  You know get back into the groove of things!

Thursday May 1st:   Work for the STARS program for a couple hours...followed by swim lessons

Friday May 2nd:  Open gym for dance

OFF for a few days...well kinda I'll still be substituting and being  mommy

Thursday May 8th:  Judge another high schools dance teams try-outs

Monday May 12th -15th:  My teams try-outs

Monday May 19th - March 2009....DANCE everyday all day!

This is my life in a nut shell!

P.s.  pray for me if you would like, try-outs are always hard and I hate breaking kids hearts when they get cut!  It sucks!!!

Stats...

Ruby had her 6th month appointment today and she is growing like a weed!  She's 27 inches long and weighed in at 15 pounds 12 oz.  She's in the 80th percentile for her height!  I think she's going to be tall just like her daddy!

SUN :)

I love love love this weather...it's amazing.  Ruby and I had such a great day.  Unfortunately daddy had to work, but us girls (Grams included) spent the afternoon walking around downtown Corvallis...we all need some retail therapy every now and then.  Then we had a Ruby photo shoot.  It was so fun to take pictures of her in her cute little outfits.  We finished the evening with a yummy BBQ.  Auntie Linda is such a great hostess!  :)  We are very blessed to have all of you in our lives.

The next Motzart

Ruby is growing so much. She has outgrown many of her infant toys (she's pretty mature for her age). So Papa J and Grams bought her a "big girl" toy. You know, the ones that say for 6+ months. She loves her new piano. I'm hoping she will be a child prodigy and learn to play at a young age and make us millions....j/k :)

Happy 1/2 birthday daughter......

This is how a birthday girl celebrates a 1/2 birthday...she partied hard!  Happy birthday sweet tootie...we love you very much.  You're growing up way too fast.  Slow down a bit...ok?

Swim Lessons

Ruby started her swim lessons tonight!  She really liked the water.  I hope she learns to swim fast!  Here's a video of her first "dunk"!
