West...

My team competed in their first competition of the year yesterday. All in all it was a great day, pretty long but good. We placed 2nd in hip-hop (lost by 1.9 points) and 3rd in lyrical (lost by 4 points). I'm extremely proud of my girls. They brought their "A" game yesterday for sure. Now we just have to work extra hard to turn those 2nd and 3rd placed trophies into 1st place ones!! We can do it, I know it!!

Ruby and I are having a girls weekend. Casey left yesterday to go down to Oakland to watch his friend Paul play football for the Raiders. Go Raiders (thanks Jana and Paul for the cute shirt)

New Toy...

After much research and long talks Casey and I finally bought our dream camera (you know its one of those must haves when you have a baby)....the Nikon D40X. It's so cool! You'll be seeing many more pictures of Ruby now that I have a nice camera to take them on.

A horrible no good very bad morning...

It all started at 4am, I woke up with one of my monster migraines. Not able to take any of my medications because I'm breast feeding, I had to resort to Tylenol, and let me tell you it did nothing. At about 9am I vomited, soon after that Casey had to leave for work and I was so nervous about having to take care of Ruby by myself. I literally could not even walk without getting sick. Luckily Casey called my mom and she was able to take off work to come take care of Rubs (thanks mom). What would I do without family. I was able to sleep for a solid two hours and I took some more meds, and now I just have a headache with slight nausea. It is hard work being a mom. Props to all you moms out there, especially you moms that are pregnant too. I can't even imagine!!

Mommy got spoiled today by daddy, she got to get her hair done... so I got to spend some time with my papa j and grandma. Thanks for loving me so much, and playing with me. I had lots of fun! Roo-Roo

Ruby meet Emma...

Our little giant met tiny little Emma yesterday. Emma is so sweet, and looks exactly like Peter. Thanks for having us over for a fun play date, and thank you Auntie Jenna for the delicious dinner. You're such a great hostess.
