Christmas...

A few pictures from Christmas and Christmas Eve.  We had a blast with our families.  Ruby got hooked up.  She must of been very good this year :)  Thanks mom's and dad's for all the great gifts.  Ruby is gonna to be smart, well dressed and ridin in style thanks to her new stroller.  Can't wait to go on family walks now that we finally have one!  Anyway I will post more pics later.  There are some cute ones of Nalia and Ruby(Nalia thinks Ruby is her baby doll...its so cute), I just haven't downloaded them yet.  Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and thanks again for all the cool stuff fam and friends!  Love ya

Merry Christmas

Christmas Caroling

Ruby had her first caroling experience.  My parents and their friends (they like to call themselves the F.N.C, or the Friday Night Clubbers) go caroling every Christmas to elderly friends and families here in our hometown.  This year Ruby and I decide to partake in the fun.  We meet up and made festive baskets to give to the families.  The baskets had chocolates, fruit, homemade bread, sparkling cider, hot coco and tea mixes, cheese and crackers and assorted nuts.  We drove around town to 7 different homes and delivered the baskets as we sang 3 to 4 Christmas carols.  It was so so fun and the individuals just loved seeing Ruby.  Some of the recipients are pretty disabled, and some are completely home bond so us coming and sharing the Christmas spirit meant so so much to them.  My favorite stop was my grandparents house.  My grandpa loved it, he even joined in and sang with us.  What fun!  Hopefully Ruby made some good memories tonight!

Ruby meets Ruby...

Last night Jenna and Ruby brought us over dinner, it was so nice of them.  Ruby looks great, LA is treating her well.  And Jenna looked wonderful as always too!  We hung out and chatted about life and important stuff!  Our friends Abby and Chris came over with their daughter Ezriah too...then Caylan, Travis and Nalia stopped by. It was so much fun to hang out and visit.  Here are a few photots.  The other baby is Ezriah, she is 4 days older than Roo!

We finally got Ruby's pictures back.  The photographer did an amazing job capturing our little one's spirit.  We love photo shoots!!  

Christmas came early for Casey...

Yep, that's right we made the switch.  We're now part of the "mac family"!  You should try it, it's pretty cool!

2 month check-up...

Ruby had her 2 month appointment, and she's growing. Our little girl is 10lbs... so crazy. She's 23 inches long and oh so cute. Good job Boo you are growing so well. Keep up the good work.

Ruby is 2 months old...I can't believe it!
2 months old and loving life. She is full of laughs! Ruby 3 days old...she's grown so much!

Yes that's right, she rolled over...the first time we thought it was a fluke, but our little boo has done it twice now. She's so strong!

Thankful...

So many things to be thankful for.... Looking back on this past year so many great things have happened to our family. We're so thankful for so many reasons. We hope you and your family are finding things to be thankful for too. God bless

Casey and I had the privilege of keeping our niece Nalia for the first time ever (she usually cries as soon as her mommy leaves). We had so much fun playing with her and Ruby. Nalia is showing Ruby how to kick here in this pic. Ruby's gonna be one tough cookie thanks to Nalia!!

So I've been really busy being a mom, wife and coach these past few weeks. It's been difficult for me to find a good balance in life lately. Basically what happened is my housework got seriously neglected. But thanks to my mom and Casey's mom it looks great now. Family is so amazing. Thank you for helping out so much. We love you all.

West...

My team competed in their first competition of the year yesterday. All in all it was a great day, pretty long but good. We placed 2nd in hip-hop (lost by 1.9 points) and 3rd in lyrical (lost by 4 points). I'm extremely proud of my girls. They brought their "A" game yesterday for sure. Now we just have to work extra hard to turn those 2nd and 3rd placed trophies into 1st place ones!! We can do it, I know it!!

Daddyless...

Ruby and I are having a girls weekend. Casey left yesterday to go down to Oakland to watch his friend Paul play football for the Raiders. Go Raiders (thanks Jana and Paul for the cute shirt)

New Toy...

After much research and long talks Casey and I finally bought our dream camera (you know its one of those must haves when you have a baby)....the Nikon D40X. It's so cool! You'll be seeing many more pictures of Ruby now that I have a nice camera to take them on.

A horrible no good very bad morning...

It all started at 4am, I woke up with one of my monster migraines. Not able to take any of my medications because I'm breast feeding, I had to resort to Tylenol, and let me tell you it did nothing. At about 9am I vomited, soon after that Casey had to leave for work and I was so nervous about having to take care of Ruby by myself. I literally could not even walk without getting sick. Luckily Casey called my mom and she was able to take off work to come take care of Rubs (thanks mom). What would I do without family. I was able to sleep for a solid two hours and I took some more meds, and now I just have a headache with slight nausea. It is hard work being a mom. Props to all you moms out there, especially you moms that are pregnant too. I can't even imagine!!

Papa J...

Mommy got spoiled today by daddy, she got to get her hair done... so I got to spend some time with my papa j and grandma. Thanks for loving me so much, and playing with me. I had lots of fun! Roo-Roo

Ruby meet Emma...

Our little giant met tiny little Emma yesterday. Emma is so sweet, and looks exactly like Peter. Thanks for having us over for a fun play date, and thank you Auntie Jenna for the delicious dinner. You're such a great hostess.
