The Beautiful Bride to be...

Saturday kicked off the exciting wedding events for our good friends Lisa and Jay.  She is going to make an absolutely beautiful bride... stunning!   And talk about gifts, I wanna get married again.  She got hooked up!

Just a day in the life of us....

Mother's Day...

What a day it was.  I woke up bright and early to a very ill husband.  For those of you who know Casey, knows that he never gets sick, a cold here and there yes, but never violently ill.  Well that was until yesterday.  He was so so sick...vomiting and all!  YUCK!  So I spent my time shuffling from my parents house where Ruby was safe from all germs, and our house to attend to my ill hubby.  Poor guy I've never heard such a sound as a grown man vomiting.  Oh well at least my first mother's day will definitely be remembered.

Things...

Today Ruby turns 7 months old...crazy I know.  She now has 4 visible teeth, she's trying ever so hard to crawl. Right now it looks more like an army crawl.  She loves to say dadda and babba (we're still working on mama).  She claps and kinda waves every now and then.  Her favorite toys are tupperware bowls and napkin rings...seriously why do we buy baby toys?  Her sleep schedule is amazing, 11 to 12 hours at night and a 3 hour nap during the day.  I can get so much more stuff done, which is great!

Casey and I have been busy planning out our home renovations.  We are re-doing our bathroom and yard for now.  We are also putting in a back door and painting!  I love change!!!  Once we get some progress done I'll be sure to post some pictures.
