Friends....

Lovely little Cortney (Casey's long time friend and best man in our wedding) is home for a short time.  Cortney has been living in Kansas for the past 4 years were he's been working as a pilot!  He has moved home for a month or so before he leaves to fly missionary aide in the Congo; I know CRAZY!  Please pray for him.  He loves the Lord very much and has such a great heart (he's single too) we're excited for him, and we trust that the Lord will protect him as he goes to share the goodness of the Lord in a very scary place.  Good work Cort!!!!  We love you!
Here's the happy little family...some good friends of ours that have a 6 month old little boy named Quentin!  So cute.  They came over last night for some dinner and good quality conversations!  We really enjoy their friendship, wish they lived closer!

Dance, dance, dance...

Here's the "Explosion" dance team.  We performed the first half of our state routine at a girls basketball game tonight.  My team competes with this routine next Saturday. :)  Sorry about the bad recording towards the end I was trying to watch and record at the same time...ops!

Casey's newer RIDE...

Yeah that's right we finally got a more reliable truck for Casey to commute to Salem in.  It's a 2002 Tacoma.  We love it, and he looks SO hot driving it :)

Our sweet lady

Everyday we are more and more amazed at what a miracle she is.  This video might be boring for some of you, but I just had to share...isn't she sweet?

She's so BIG...

She is getting huge I can't believe it.  Today I was looking at her thinking wow, the past three months flew by...it really makes me sad.  She is growing up way too fast.  I want to remember every little moment/experience.  She's really starting to try to figure stuff out.  It's amazing to watch her learn and experience things for the first time.  Her new favorite thing is her voice, and oh yes her hands.  She can stare at her hands for hours it seems like.  So cute!  Ok that's all...I know my life is boring, it really is all about Ruby!  But I'm so thankful for her!!!

update...

Ruby likes to fly and read...she's multi talented

Time is going by so so fast.  Alot has been happening on our little family so here is a quick update...

1. I have to have a minor surgery to fix/correct something that my lovely delivery doctor failed to do right the first time.  Needless to say I have been in tons of pain since labor and I thought it was normal,  but after Casey and my mom insisted that I go get everything checked out I found out that was not the case.  It's a pretty intense story, but the end is near and soon very soon I will feel normal again.  Praise God!

2.  We have been working with our dog for the past three months on a particular problem that we are still not aware of.  Apparently he has a barking problem.  This "problem" only arises when we are not home so its been a challenge to get him to stop.  After much time, a few complaints (probably 7 or so) from an ever so annoying/baby of a neighbor, and a written warning from the cops we broke down and got our first born a bark collar.  Two days into it we thought everything was great.  We still have never heard him bark persistently and the collar wasn't scaring him.  Then one morning my crazy/baby of a neighbor came over telling us our dog had been barking in the garage all morning.  I was like "what are you talking about he's outside"  a few more words were exchanged and the end result was that its not our dog that has the barking problem its another dog down the street.  Moral of the story...our neighbor is crazy.

If you want the full story just ask some time.  It's pretty good and it consists of Casey shutting the door in the neighbors face and lots of cop visits :)

3.  Casey's truck has been acting up.  Well actually it has been not acting at all sometimes.  So maybe we will be in the market for a newer car soon :(

4.  Roo has been sleeping much better.  She only wakes up once sometimes twice.  Yay

5.  Dance consumes my every free moment, but its fun!

New "Flip"

I'm pretty excited about this.  Casey and I got a new video camera called the "flip" for Christmas.  It's about the coolest thing ever invented.  You should all get one.  Totally fun and very convenient.  Anyway, I'm so excited to share videos of Roo now!

Three months...

She's growing so so fast.  We are having so much fun experiencing all her "firsts!"  She is absolutely perfect!  Although she's not sleeping through the night yet, she is doing much better, only waking up once or twice.  She loves to read books and to have solid "tummy time".  She is rolling over more and more.  It's amazing to watch her grow and figure out stuff.  We thank God everyday for a healthy happy baby girl.  She truly is a gift!  We love you Roo.
